KOMM MIT
Travel Guide

Bologna (140 km away), Ancona (80 km away), as well as more distant airports such as Perugia, Pescara or Venice.
In Croatia, there are 2*, 3* and 4* hotels, as well as 3* holiday resorts with half board.
2* hotels in Croatia are simple in terms of facilities and offerings, such as buffet selection, lobby size and rooms.
The 3* hotels in Croatia are often slightly larger and furnished to good middle-class standards. The offer at the hotel is good but not luxurious.
A 4* hotel in Croatia offers many amenities. As a rule, 4* hotels are recent construction dates or renovated 3* hotels. Here, the 3* standard has been further expanded, e.g. there is more choice at the buffet, the pool is large, there is animation, the decor is very modern.
There are three categories of hotels available in Italy:
- 2* hotels in Italy are small houses with simple furnishings.
- 3* hotels in Italy are larger hotels with a good middle class standard, without luxury.
- 3*+ hotels offer more comfort and modern equipment than 3* hotels. They often have additional amenities, such as a pool.
Spain offers KOMM MIT accommodation in 2*, 3* and 4* hotels.
2* hotels in Spain are usually slightly smaller houses. They are kept simple in terms of equipment and offerings, such as the buffet selection, the size of the lobby and the rooms.
The 3* hotels in Spain are often slightly larger and furnished to good middle-class standards. The offer at the hotel is good but not luxurious.
A 4* hotel in Spain offers “more” of everything than a 3* hotel. As a rule, 4* hotels are recent construction dates or renovated 3* hotels. Here, the 3* standard has been further expanded, e.g. at the buffet or in the pool and there is animation.
KOMM MIT offers family-run, small hotels in two and three star segments. Higher quality hotels are available on request.
In addition to Germany and the Netherlands, teams from Switzerland, Denmark and Turkey also regularly take part.
Since KOMM MIT is a tournament organizer from Germany, the majority of German teams take part in tournaments in Croatia.
Due to the proximity to Italy, Italian teams are also taking part in almost all events. Plus teams from local and from Austria, Switzerland and Slovenia.
Mainly German teams, but also participants from Italy, Croatia, Austria and other countries.
KOMM MIT organizes around 15 youth soccer tournaments across Europe every year in Spain, Italy, the Netherlands and Croatia, thus promoting solidarity among children and young people, with a particular focus on intercultural exchange.
KOMM MIT's cooperation partners are the German Football Association (DFB), JAKO AG as an outfitter, PSD Bank West eG, the VEREINT Foundation! and Deutsche Telekom, plus individual national soccer associations and local clubs in the tournament countries.
Criticism, positive or negative, can be submitted to the KOMM MIT tournament office. If this can be addressed on site, this will be done. Otherwise, we will also receive criticism by email after the tournament and process it. After every KOMM MIT tournament, emails are automatically sent with a link to submit feedback.
Groups that are on site with the KOMM MIT bus will independently discuss the exact pick-up time at the hotel with their bus driver.
For airport transfers, the local bus company will calculate the pick-up time at the hotel.
Groups that have travelled themselves should coordinate themselves.
